The Jewish Community Foundation of the West offers a variety of funds designed to meet the needs of organizations:

  1. Endowment Funds
Endowments are permanent funds that allow you to support your organization and its causes in perpetuity. You can establish a Restricted Endowment to support specific activities, such as a building maintenance fund or capital campaign fund. You can also establish a General Endowment fund, which gives the Board of your organization flexibility on how to spend the funds. The minimum amount to establish an endowment fund is $10,000.

  2. Philanthropic Funds
These are non-permanent funds that allow you to distribute any part or all of the proceeds at any time. These Philanthropic Funds provide a way to easily budget and manage financial needs on an annual basis. The minimum amount to establish a philanthropic fund is $1,000.

  3. Bequests/Long-term Planned Giving
The Foundation will work with you to create a long-term planned giving program.
